This week on Black Genius, we’re mixing up the bag! We’ll have two guests speaking about their journeys in medicine, from the conventional to the naturopathic.

Dr. Jennifer Pierre, is a licensed Naturopathic physician and Chief Medical Officer at Revive Wellness Center. She left a conventional medical path to instead integrate everything from acupuncture to nutrition into her healing practice. Dr. Pierre is an alumna of Cornell and University at Albany.

Faith Crittenden is a Medical Student at UConn and a Yale MPH. She hosts Coloring Health Policy podcast and has authored several pieces of legislation to improve Black health outcomes.

Olori Lolade Siyonbola

Olori Lolade Siyonbola is the Founder of NOIR Labs, noirpress and NOIR FEST. She is a Gates Scholar pursing her doctorate at Cambridge University, she has a computer science degree from Mizzou and an African Studies Masters from Yale. Olori believes that technology (digital, spiritual and other forms) must be wielded intentionally in the service of the Liberation of oppressed people everywhere. Using technology, art and community building, she is leading NOIR Labs to inspire and operationalize Black Liberation worldwide.
