At NOIR Labs, we believe we can deliver a world in which Blackness is centered and celebrated through beautiful, intuitive live and digital content and experiences. With noirpress, we’re building the first of its kind media platform curating and developing the finest content on aspirational Blackness, and connecting every Wakandan from Oakland to Kinshasa to Rio to Brixton, be they artists, technologists, social justice organizers or entrepreneurs.

noirpress Editors and Contributors are obsessed with stories of progress and produce writing and imagery that is gorgeous, rich, textured and authentic. We document the stories of leading Black changemakers across the globe; we provide commentary on global current events from a Black & Global South perspective, and on popular culture with a thoughtful, analytical lens.

Our content ranges from analytical essays and personal narrative, to poetry and fiction. Our audience is the global intelligentsia: people who think critically about what is happening in the world around them and how these happenings are connected globally.
